大紅丁香

紅丁香（學名：Syringa villosa Vahl），灌木，高達4米。枝直立，粗壯，灰褐色，具皮孔，小枝淡灰棕色，無毛或被微柔毛，具皮孔。葉片卵形，橢圓狀卵形、寬橢圓形至倒卵狀長橢圓形，長4-11（-15）厘米，寬1.5-6（-11）厘米，先端銳尖或短漸尖，基部楔形或寬楔形至近圓形，上面深綠色，無毛，下麵粉綠色，貼生疏柔毛或僅沿葉脈被須狀柔毛或柔毛，稀無毛；葉柄長0.8-2.5厘米，無毛或略被柔毛。果長圓形，長1-1.5厘米，寬約6毫米，先端凸尖，皮孔不明顯。花期5-6月，果期9月。

形態特徵

落葉灌木或。小枝近圓柱形或帶四棱形，具皮孔。冬芽被芽鱗，頂芽常缺。葉對生，單葉，稀複葉，全緣，稀分裂；具葉柄。

花兩性，聚傘花序排列成圓錐花序，頂生或側生，與葉同時抽生或葉後抽生；具花梗或無花梗；花萼小，鍾狀，具4齒或為不規則齒裂，或近截形，宿存；花冠漏斗狀、高腳碟狀或近幅狀，裂片4枚，開展或近直立，花蕾時呈鑷合狀排列；雄蕊2枚，着生於花冠管喉部至花冠管中部，內藏或伸出；子房2室，每室具下垂胚珠2枚，花柱絲狀，短於雄蕊，柱頭2裂。

果為蒴果，微扁，2室，室間開裂；種子扁平，有翅；子葉卵形，扁平；胚根向上。染色體基數x=23，或22、24。^[1]
