畫筆本身不屬於消耗品，但是小孩子總是喜歡把東西丟來丟去的，容易損壞
將水筆注滿清水或將筆尖浸在水中自動吸水，孩子即可在畫布上隨意繪畫；（ 畫筆初次使用時，請將筆頭擰出，泡溫水30分鐘，這樣筆頭就可以充分濕潤膨脹，再裝自來水或飲用水使用，這樣出水就會更流暢）
水筆所畫之處即立刻出現繪畫筆跡；隨水跡的蒸發，筆跡隨之消失，畫布回到原來的本色，孩子可以繼續創作。註：水跡乾的快慢依環境乾燥程度而定，夏季一般5-10分鐘左右，冬季因室內溫度差別較大，
不是很好確定。個別地方因為水質發黃，有可能畫完後會在所畫的部分邊緣留下痕跡，不影響
使用。痕跡多了之後可以用清水全部清洗一下就沒有了。
