主意事項：1刀具必須安裝在台鑽上面使用。（不能在手槍鑽或者沒有固定支架的電磨機上使用）；2，刀具屬於動手操作類，不保證都能做出來，不要以：做不出來，鑽心斷、成品不好看此類藉口說工具有問題；3，鑽心屬於損耗品，可以另外購買，加工過程中斷裂不負責。

1、開鑽是之前，先用夾具把木料固定好；2、把刀裝好，安裝在台鑽上，啟動台鑽，看一下刀頭是否擺動，確定完之後，對準木板上的鑽眼鑽下，（下鑽要穩，慢慢前進，感覺鑽頭前面沒有震動最好），帶鑽完一半之後，把木料反轉，對準鑽眼鑽另一面（重複前面的操作），一個戒指的毛坯就出來了；3、打磨，本人是用一個六角柄打磨棒，前面用一個可以塞進扳指的木頭，把打磨棒敲進去，然後把扳指套上，在機器上旋轉，用砂紙 400目 800目 1500目 3000目 7000目打磨，最後用棉布拋光就可以了，打磨裡面是手拿着扳指打磨的，這樣一個扳指就成了。
